Eastmoor Academy High School's standout safety prospect Ron Tanner contacted Michigan Sports Zone this afternoon to update us on his recruitment process. In a quick interview this afternoon he stated that he just recieved new offers from Illinois, Ohio University, Duke, and Yale. Ron stated " I am interested in all of the schools that have offered me so far", he also stated that he doesn't have his top schools figured out yet and he is waiting to announce his top 5 until he has more visits to schools in the spring. Although he has not made any official visits yet, he has had unofficial visits to Michigan, Ohio State, Pittsburgh, and West Virginia. Ron has done the 2010 Under Armor Combine and the U.S. Army Combine and told us of plans to attend the Nike Training Camp this summer. Check back with "The Zone" for more updates on Ron Tanner.
