Quinton Alston recruitment update!

Quinton Alston has seen his recruitment heat up rapidly in just a short time.  Over the past week or so Pitt and Iowa offered the talented and hard-working linebacker.  Just today he received an offer from another Big 10 team, the Minnesota Golden Gophers.  Quinton plans on making a visit to Minnesota for their game against USC on Sep 18, 2010.

What is special about Quinton is he has the same level of excitement about each offer and is grateful for each that he receives.  Quinton has no plans on making a decision early. He stated he wont be narrowing down his list, "anytime soon".  He wants to look at each school in-depth prior to making his final decision.

Quinton is grateful for the countless hours of behind-the-scenes work that is done by Timber Creek's coaching staff and especailly Head Coach Rob Hinson.  In speaking about his head coach he told me "this is long overdue, but he deserves a lot of recognition. I dont know how many times he was in school looking tired because he was up all night talking to Colleges trying to get us offers."  Quinton would like the efforts of his coach to be recognized.  Not only has he turned around the Timber Creek football program but through hard work and compassion for his players, he is helping these kids turn their dreams of playing College Football into a reality!

Well done Coach Rob Hinson and congratualtion to Quinton Alston for his latest offer!
