Analysis: Demetrius Williams is a standout player, period. His school, Bamberg-Ehrhardt, has produced several D1 prospects and Williams looks to add to the rich history of the Red Raiders by the end of his senior season. Despite Williams playing full-time on offense and defense, it has not stopped him from playing at high-level. Williams does most of his damage when running through the tackles. Once he has moved through the line, he usually has the speed and power to break for a long run. His talent this past season was recognized as he was awarded T&D All-Area Honors. His offensive numbers shouldn’t overshadow his defensive ability, though since Demetrius has shown the ability to be an above-average defensive back too.

Demetrius Williams would compliment any offense or defense at the next level. He projects obviously as a running back on offense and would fit as a cornerback on defense as well. Williams has expressed serious interest in staying in South Carolina when choosing his future college, but no in-state schools have offered as of yet.
