Prep: (FR) No stats reported (SO) No stats reported (JR) 80 receptions for 980 yards and recorded four interceptions on defense. Tackles and Touchdowns for the season were not reported by the coach for Darius.
Analysis: Darius has a great burst of speed off the line, has the ability to break away from the defensive back especially when the DB tries to check him down in the first 5 yards. His size may be a problem at the Division I level although he does have a decent vertical leap. Needs to get bigger and stronger and due to his size he may be a better fit on the defensive side of the ball. Michigan along with four other schools have seen something they like in this kid and in talking to a few of his teammates his willingness to improve is second to none. Darius doesn't have a top school yet but he stated Michigan does rate up at the top. He is unsure wether to make his decision this summer or wait until signing day. If he has a breakout season this year look for him to garner more offers and wait until signing day to make his decision. According to sources he may be holding out for an offer from the Buckeyes.
