                                        Let's try this again----BBQ at the Big House blog


     Just a quick update for all our fellow Wolverines...This weekend is the Big House BBQ and like I have pointed out for some time now, we SHOULD be getting committments from 2-3 players this weekend...This is what I have been TOLD..Although, one of which might keep it hush-hush a little bit longer..All would be a position of need for talent and depth and would all get the shot to start next year as Freshman  Yes, I know for those of you who are not fond of Freshman starting all the time that this might seem worrisome but, ALL I am trying to say is that they are very talented--Nothing more, nothing less..These are very skilled, highly sought after players so, let's hope that someone does something right with the food in A2 today...  Snake-oil marinade anyone?  ...

    *Update*--I was sent some info last night stating that the once thought of commits MIGHT hold off for now..Is it due to other prospects gainig interest in UM? Hmmm I will definitely have more info on this later IF there needs to be...



     It is a beautiful day in A2 today with some lingering clouds but the  forecast seems to be very pleasant for the rest of the weekend...There are a lot of activities taking place today and their seems to be some sort of athletic competition for the players as well...I'm not sure if this is for the current players to show off some drills/skills to the recruits later today or if indeed there is some sort of competition being set up by the coaches for the recruits...I will update the site as soon as I find out at some point today...

                                                            *UPDATE*

  They will be doing drills today between 12ish and 1...Then a little BBQ'ing and some touring of the facility...Tonight will be the next addition of " The Night of Champions"....It's an event for all the current players doing relays, weight-lifting, agility events and all sorts of things..They get put into teams and the coaches keep score throughout the day and award the winners that night...I will continue to update this blog throughout the day as it continues to grow...

    It will be interesting to me to see WHO shows up for this weekends events and how LONG they hang around...I will bring you more updates today as I get them and for the rest of the weekend as well...There are 14 recruits that have showed up and been accounted for so far...This number will grow as the day goes on....

    The only question I have now is---Gas or charcoal? Because it is almost time to heat things up...
