Prep:  (FR) Attended Orlando Edgewater High School.  Did not play or no stats accumulated.  (SO)  Starting running back for Orlando Edgewater.  No stats found.  Post sophomore year ranked as 96th best player in Central Florida.  (JR) Transferred to Orlando Dr. Phillips High School.   Changed positions from running back to safety.  Intercepted a pass and recorded a sack week 2 against former team Edgewater.  Recorded two more sacks week three against Kissimmee Osceola.  Returned a punt for touchdown against Gateway HS in a 69-6 win.  Finished season with 93 tackles, 3 interceptions and 6 sacks.  Had 13 tackles for loss, 3 forced fumbles, 1 recovered and broke up 9 passes.  Contributed 24 rush yards on offense and 210 yards in kick and punt returns.  (Career)  Transferring to Dr. Phillips gave him the chance to showcase his skills.  He was a good prospect at Edgewater as a running back but was able to showcase his defensive skills in Dr. Phillips' defense and became a great prospect.  (Awards) All Central Florida (09), All County (09), All Metro (09), Orange County Defensive Play of the Year (09).

Analysis:  A big, physical safety with great speed.  Clinton-Dix has the speed and tackling ability to work in the open field but as the size and physicality to play close to the line of scrimmage.  Coverage skills are pretty good in zone but needs to work on man to man coverage.  A very good pass rusher, HaSean understands how to get to the QB and make plays happen.  Has a knack for making the big play and forcing a turnover.  Always around the ball.  Reminds many of Michigan's own Marlin Jackson.
